Press-welded Grating

Introduction of press-welded grating.

Pressure welded steel grating is also called pressure welded grating, machine welded steel grating, standard pressure welded steel grating is twisted square steel and a number of bearing flat steel into a straight cross welded into a whole, welding using modern automatic pressure resistance welding production line, so as to form an open grating type structural plate with good load-bearing capacity.

Types of pressure welded steel grating.

There are two kinds of press-welded steel grating: machine press-welded steel grating uses high pressure resistance press-welding machine, and the robot automatically places the cross bar across the uniformly arranged flat steel, and presses the cross bar into the flat steel by powerful welding power and liquid pressure, so that the welded joints can be strong, stable and strong high-quality steel grating; hand-made steel grating is punched on the flat steel first, and then the cross bar is put into the hole and spot welded, the cross bar and the flat steel will There are gaps, but every contact point can be welded to achieve the same dissolved connection of flat steel and twisted steel, so the welding will be stronger and the strength will be improved, but the appearance is not as beautiful as the pressure welding.

The width of the bearing flat (i.e. the thickness of the grating) is from 20mm to 75mm, see the types of bearing flat for more information.

The spacing of the load-bearing bars is usually 30mm or 40mm, but can also be 15mm, 20mm, 33mm, 60mm, etc. The spacing of the cross bars is usually 100mm or 50mm, but can also be 30mm, 33mm, 150mm, etc.

Press-locked steel grating.

According to the welding method steel grating is divided into: pressure-welded steel grating and pressure-locked steel grating. Crimp-locked steel grating is made of carbon flat steel, stainless steel, brass plate, aluminum plate of certain size through the process of slotting (hole), inserting and crimping, welding and finishing. At each intersection of the flat bar and the cross bar, the cross bar is pressed into the flat bar or the pre-slotted flat bar by pressure, and the grating is fixed in place. The crossbars of the compression-locked grating are also made of longitudinally sheared flat bars.
